Privacy Policy

Lamson Institute

We recognize the importance of protecting your privacy and the information that you share with us. Described below is our policy on the collection, use, disclosure, maintenance, and protection of personal information that you provide to us through this website.

Collection of Information

The information that we collect from you through this website will vary depending upon how you use the website and what information you choose to provide. If you contact us via e-mail or submit an online request for information or to schedule a visit to one of our campuses, we will collect the information that you provide to us in your e-mail message or request, including your name, contact information, e-mail address and any questions or comments that you may submit.

Necessary website services support security, forms, authentication, and your saved privacy preference. Optional tracking is controlled separately. Browsing, scrolling, navigating, or submitting a form never creates an explicit tracking choice. Our regional system fails closed: strict locations require opt-in before Analytics or Advertising can begin, and an unavailable or invalid regional policy does not enable either category.

If allowed, Analytics helps us understand site use through a restricted event and attribution contract that rejects contact details and other sensitive form data. Advertising is a separate choice and controls approved advertising and measurement tags. Global Privacy Control keeps Advertising off whenever the signal is detected, in every regional mode, even if a previous browser preference allowed it. Analytics remains a separate choice. As an additional protective boundary, Lamson's first-party analytics collector does not send an event while Global Privacy Control is active.

Approved analytics or advertising providers may process pseudonymous browser, device, campaign, and interaction identifiers. Although our contracts minimize and restrict the data sent, information processed by third parties should not be assumed to be completely anonymous. We do not send names, email addresses, phone numbers, postal codes, form bodies, or complete page URLs through the browser analytics contract.

When Advertising is permitted, approved Google Ads and Meta Pixel tags may run through Google Tag Manager. Meta's automatic website matching may use hashed versions of an email address, phone number, first and last name, gender, city, state, and ZIP or postal code that a person has already provided to Lamson to match an advertising event to a Meta account. That browser advertising path remains off unless Advertising is permitted and Global Privacy Control is not active. For server-confirmed qualified-lead and enrollment outcomes, Lamson may also use the Meta Conversions API. That separate server path is limited to the outcome event name, time, ID, value and currency; a keyed one-way external identifier; SHA-256-hashed email address and phone number when available; and Meta click or browser identifiers previously captured with Advertising permission. It does not send names, date of birth, postal code, form contents, IP address, user agent, or a complete page URL. Delivery remains blocked unless Advertising authorization is still valid, Global Privacy Control is not active, and the authorization has not been withdrawn.

Tracking Choices and Withdrawal

You can review, grant, refuse, or withdraw Analytics and Advertising at any time. Withdrawing a category stops future website tracking in that category and clears the applicable browser state. Advertising withdrawal also prevents future server advertising-conversion delivery under the withdrawn authorization. It does not retract provider events already delivered or delete information you intentionally submitted. Read the detailed Cookie Policy for regional choices, retention, and provider scope.

When Analytics is permitted, Analytics-derived engagement features may help prioritize human follow-up after someone requests information. They are not used to decide admission, financial aid, eligibility, or pricing, and they do not make automated denial decisions.

Use of Information

If you send us any questions or comments by e-mail, we will use your e-mail address to respond to your questions or comments. If you submit an online request for information, we will use your name and contact information to process your request.
